Kenya has began establishing itself as a hot bed for investment companies due to the thriving economy and the great number of young people willing to begin their investment journeys. Old Mutual has a history of over 150 years and first began in South Africa. It is known as UAP Old Mutual following the merger of 2 companies. The company offers search as insurance, mutual fund management, securities and other financial services.

It was formerly Dunlop Kenya Holdings and was established as a branch of Dunlop UK in Kenya in 1968 and has several subsidiaries under. Just to mention a few : Avon, Dunlop, Heri Heights etc.
The company invests in manufacturing, sell of items used in real estate and also distribution. They deal with tiles, cleaning agents sell, fire fighting gadgets and water pumps.

NIC bank in-cooperated in Kenya in the late 1950’s. NIC securities is just but the arm of investments in Kenya. Its specialty is in trading stocks, bonds, T bills and cooperate shares. They have mobile app to invest in the Nairobi Stocks Exchange.
